We all seem to have had at least one that stays with us forever.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07009225443624422076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6132095809483746076.post-31787300323617330422012-04-06T17:04:56.033-07:002012-04-06T17:04:56.033-07:00That was a wonderful post! I was totally captivated by the whole thing which obviously shows your skill as a writer.

Our current pet is a red toy poodle that matches my hair exactly. Our last dog was a white miniature toy poodle that only weighed 4 lbs and was, by far, the best friend I have ever had in my whole life. I miss her dearly.

Thanks for tweeting me your link. I needed a nice smile today. The Redhead Riterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15146525055317050737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6132095809483746076.post-34259094779223983092012-04-03T17:56:43.509-07:002012-04-03T17:56:43.509-07:00Thank you for the kind words. He never went back against his word and he did teach me to honor others, never quit or give up and to set goals and then do your best to achieve them. I'm so glad you saw that and I am very proud to represent him in the best light I can paint.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07009225443624422076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6132095809483746076.post-55859835943777706062012-04-03T16:58:13.874-07:002012-04-03T16:58:13.874-07:00May the gods continue to bless your late grandfath...May the gods continue to bless your late grandfather---his teachings have served you well and your writing honors him. i was laughing so hard reading about Mr.Curtis fuming at your disbelief of who he was i was in tears.

More importantly that he [Mr.Curtis] respected your integrity and was willing to admit to and apologize for his bad behavior is wonderful.

The larger life lesson of course veers back to your grandfather's wise advice to never give up and to complete what you start. It also serves as encouragement to kids who are in a family situation that may seem hopeless that if they put their heart and mind to it there is a better life for them. It may take a while for them to get there but the path to success is there.sookietexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05065893491004805131noreply@blogger.com
